Custom Heat-Treat Chambers designs and sells heat-treat chambers
for thermal pest eradification of wood packaging, pallets, kiln
wood and other lumber products. Heat is circulated throughout
the chamber to raise the core temperature on these products to
eliminate pest infestation by the pine wood nematode and other
common insects. Your wood products will be in compliance with
International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 (ISPM
15) of the International Plant Protection Conventions (IPPC).
European Union regulations for 56/30, where the core temperature
needs to be raised to 56 degrees Celsius (133 degrees Fahrenheit)
for 30 minutes.
At Custom Heat-Treat Chambers, we can design a special application
for thermal pest control management for all your lumber products.
Ideal for pallet heat treating. Our modular chambers can be built
to suit your present day requirements while being expandable
to take care of your future needs as well. These chambers are
constructed from materials that are resistive to the effects
from tannic acid. The heat is produced using natural gas or propane
fired modulating heating units ranging in size from 500,000 to
5,000,000 BTU's per hour. The ease of loading and unloading our
chambers is second to none. Our units have superior air circulation
which makes them more efficient, saving your company time and
money, while allowing you to get more cycles through the chamber
per day. |
